AU12A Auto/Marine LED Driver
For rechargeable batteries that can produce up to 14.4 vdc
 The AU12A LED Driver is designed for use with automotive/ marine and lead acid, rechargeable batteries that produce 13.6v to 14.4 volt DC at full charge. Overvoltage from these power sources will produce un-stable voltage, and alternators or other chargeing devices that will cause noise ripple and un-stable surges, and will also cause the LEDs and pcbs to overheat, which will kill the LEDs. LEDs require a true and stable 12vdc to operate properly and for their rated life span. The AU12A will deliver a stable, filtered, true 12.0v DC to a LED array or fixture requiring 10mA up to 800mA.The AU12A will deliver 10mA up to 800mA or 10 watts of power. This product is intended for use with LEDs only. The AU12A circuitry and mounting brackets are embedded in a highly insulative epoxy based resin and encapsulated in a UL95-5VA flame retardant ABS plastic barrel housing. The AU12A barrel diameter is .375" by .75" long. 6" color coded leads are provided for easy install with the green/brown leads go to the fixture, the red/black leads go to the power line/supply. |
